I’m very happy to introduce myself as a Plein-member! I have been around at Tafelstraat 13 since January of this year; not a very long time but enough to feel at home; I hope others will also feel at home here as I do! That’s what I want to do this year, helping to keep Tafelstraat a place for all of us. To say something about myself; I’m a 22 years old, third year Horn student at the conservatory. I was born in Eindhoven, and moved to the neighbourhood of Maastricht aged 14. After high school I decided to stay in Maastricht because of the nice and welcoming atmosphere, but also because of my 13 year old horse, Kasper! He stays at my parents’ village, in the hill country surrounding Maastricht. Why did I want to become a Plein-member? I really like organising things. I like the creativity that you have to develop in yourself. I was a staff member in three summer camps, and it was there that I had my first experience with organising. I’m looking forward to organise and create a very pleasant and nice year with and for all of you!

To begin with the formal part, my name is Noémi de Vries, I am 20 years old and was born near Geneva, Switzerland. I just started my third year of (biological-) psychology.
Now for the rest, I lived in France (near Geneva) until I was fourteen. Then my two sisters, my parents and I moved to Eindhoven. After I graduated, I moved to a great student room near Randwyck.
Since June, my parents and two sisters are living in Japan, Nagoya, for a year due to my fathers work.
I visited them this summer but will have to go on without them for the rest of the year. Fortunately I have the cosy living room of Tafelstraat to feel at home every time I come.
To finish about myself, a few more things you have to know about me: I hate it when I have to ride my bicycle in the rain, you can wake me up in the middle of the night for poffertjes, I love to read thrillers, like all beverages with alcohol in it and have an addiction for shoes!
